im going to london next week for 4 days and am going to a theatre in shaftsbury avenue for the 8 o clock show - whats the best way to get back from there to kings cross where the hotel is after the show - is the tube ok that late at nite or would a bus or taxi be safer
an idea on how much a taxi would cost would be great too

2 friends and I are thinking of going to London for a weekend in November to see a musical. We’re all on a budget and need a cheap hotel. I know travel lodges and holiday inns allow 3 adults in 1 room so thats a good start, but don’t know if they are in good locations for the theatres.

I’ll be in London for two weeks, last in August, first in September 2006. I’ve just learned that the tube has no A/C (yikes!), and I hear that many of the inter-city trains don’t either. I live in San Francisco, and I’m spoiled, I guess. I start to sweat at 77 degrees F (25 C).
