About The Tempest
Prospero, the rightful Duke of Milan, has been usurped by his brother, the King of Naples, and sent to live on an island, far from civilisation.
For 12 years, Prospero has practiced sorcery, ultimately raising a tempest that drives his usurpers ashore. The entire play takes place on the island, where the native inhabitants, Ariel and Caliban, help and hinder Prospero’s work.
